from the exhilaration of the spotlight and the tingle of adrenalin to the friendships made, our students have expressed feeling an increase in confidence and comradery on and off the stage and always love the experience of working together as a team towards a production.

If you want to perform on stage, you’re in the right place! Students learn essential skills in singing, acting, and movement while working on a licensed theatre production each year.

Our musical theatre classes are a year-round experience. During non-production times, we work on building skills and communication within our group to strengthen the entire team for the next production.

You don’t need experience for this class, just the desire to perform. Are you ready?

Senior Performance

For students 13-19 years old

Thursday’s 6:30-7:30pm (extended classes to 8pm)

Our top performance program. Students further refine and challenge their skills to become truly versatile and confident performers.

Working with peers around the same age, students perform in a full theatrical production each year whilst also developing skills in singing, acting and movement.

Cast groups are small to ensure that everyone gets an opportunity to shine.

Junior Performance

For students 8-12 years old

Thursday’s 5-6pm (extended classes to 6:30pm)

Our younger students may be small but they are mighty and they can shine just as bright as everyone else.

In our 8-12’s class, students will work with others around the same age and perform in a full theatrical production each year while also developing skills in singing acting and movement.

Students at this age are just starting to discover the world of performance and theatre. We help our students discover what they love about performing and develop their unique performance style.

Cast groups are small to ensure that everyone gets an opportunity to shine.

Ensemble

Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm

Our ensemble classes focus on skill development and are designed for beginner students who are not quite ready to take on the demands of a full production but still want the experience of performing.

Ensemble students will work on developing skills in singing, acting and movement and have a chance to perform in a two big number pieces in the production and/or individual group showcase.

Frequently asked questions

Anyone under the age of 19 years old can take part in our musical theatre classes in Cragieburn. Class/cast spots are strictly limited to 25-30 members to allow all students an opportunity to shine. Students will generally undertake a trial lesson to see which class might best fit them.

No. As part of this program, we provide education in musical theatre. We welcome students and performers of all skill levels to join us. Beginner students are advised to join our Ensemble class. More confident or experienced students can join our more demanding production classes.

Our classes run on Thursdays with an extended half an hour rehearsals on some weeks for lead roles and in term 3 for run throughs.

Our class schedule is:

8-12 years old – Thursday 5-6pm (sometimes extended to 6:30pm)
12 -18 years old – Thursday 6:30-7:30pm (sometimes extended to 8pm)
Ensemble Class – Tuesday 6:30-7:30

Our all-inclusive prices include all elements of the show and 48 weeks of tuition. We break this up into 11 months of payments throughout the year.

Production classes $115 a month

Ensemble classes $105 a month

Yes! Before signing up for this production class, please ensure you are available for the production dates. The production will rely on your child showing up to perform their role, and it will be the culmination of all their efforts.

Class does not stop when we aren’t doing the production. Students are expected to join class throughout the calendar year so we have the time to develop essential skills. Classes during nonproduction times run for one hour.

During our downtime between shows (generally term 4), we work on strengthening singing, acting, and movement skills.

Students can join the ensemble class any time during the year.

Students can join the performance classes any time up to ten weeks before the production. If a student is joining closer than ten weeks, they can join the ensemble class until the production has been completed.

Our program is open to anyone wishing to experience the stage.

Auditions are only required if you wish to perform as a lead character in our production. classes.
